Kanga Care brand cloth diapers are the ORIGINAL and ONLY cloth diapers uniquely designed with the patent pending leak protection technology of dual inner gussets (double inner gussets). The inside of each diaper is designed with 2 gentle inner gussets, a double barrier, that channels each leg. There is no chance of escape for even the messiest of messes! The Lil•Joeys are a preemie/newborn diaper designed to fit from 4-12lbs.

The Lil•Joeys take special care with a snap down front for sensitive cord care during those first precious days. The Lil•Joeys are the simplest of diaper systems on the market for a newborn baby. The internal soaker is 4 layers of thirsty microfiber that have been permanently sewn into the core of the diaper. No stuffing required. The Lil•Joeys are an AIO (all in one) design that is waterproof and requires no cover. Once your baby is ready for the next stage in diapers, The Rump•a•rooz® (Rumparooz) One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper will take your baby all the way through potty training with one diaper that has 4 size settings. No need to buy multiple sizes as your baby grows. The dual inner gussets can also be found on the Rumparooz One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper.

The Lil•Joeys make a great addition to any newborn stash. The Lil•Joey will fit your preemie or multiples starting at 4 lbs. Although the Rumparooz One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper will fit a newborn at 6 lbs, other one size diaper brands do not start fitting until closer to 10-12 lbs. The Lil•Joey will fill the diaper gap so that your precious newborn does not have to spend one day in a disposable diaper with chemicals against their precious porcelain skin. Don't sacrifice that tiny little rump, not even for one day!

The Lil•Joeys are a Kanga Care product which means they are part of the ONLY family of products that contain the patent pending dual inner gussets.

Lil•Joey Biodegradability:

Kanga Care diapers and accessories are also biodegradable! In 2008 Kanga Care started using a biodegradable TPU waterproof material. Biodegradable TPU is solvent-free. Biodegradable TPU is a polyester fabric that has been laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process, not chemicals. This process is low in toxicity and is better for the natural environment then traditional PUL. Both the TPU laminate and the polyester fabric the laminate is applied to are biodegradable. When composted they will biodegrade in 4-5 years.

Use, Wash & Care:

TO USE:

• Before first use, wash diapers once.

• If cord stump is still present, snap down the cord care feature.
• After cord stump has healed, cord snap feature may be un-snapped. Chose whichever snap settings fits your newborn the best.
• Fasten diaper to baby!

Wash & Care:
Wash diapers together on Cold Wash/Cold Rinse, fast cycle, no detergent, spin dry (quick pre-wash). After pre-wash; wash on Hot Wash/Cold Rinse with 1/4 regularly suggested amount of detergent*. Tumble dry low or hang dry (diapers dry FAST!)

*Detergent: Do not use detergents that are "Free & Clear" or contain fabric softeners. Fragrances may cause irritation, discontinue detergent brand if irritation occurs. Do not use bleach. Do not use fabric softeners or drier sheets. Do not soak for long periods of time. Do not soak diapers in detergent or any laundry additives for removing stains, odor or buildup. If staining, odor or buildup occurs, make sure you are using a detergent that contains enzymes. When I brought my daughter home, most of the newborn diapers were still too big on her and covered her umbilical cord even with the snap down. These fit wonderfully, and were super easy to use!

My son was born at 35 weeks and was 6 lbs 3 oz, and these were some of the only newborn diapers that fit him. They have leaned if he slept on his side, but they are very adjustable with the cord snap down. I definitely suggest these for smaller babies and preemies.
Good fit, but leaky.

This diaper has a great fit, especially if you have a little bitty baby. My son fit in these when he was born at 7lbs 8 oz and is still fitting in them now at 9lbs. We have had a few leaks though, but my son is a super soaker., so that could be why. They have held in the poo great though!
